Surat records lowest nCov cases since Apr 1

Surat: Diamond City limps back on the healing path with the city recording 690 Covid-19 patients getting discharged from different hospitals in the city as against 482 new cases and seven deaths on Sunday.
According to Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) officials, among the eight civic zones in the city, Rander continues to be a cause of worry with highest daily at 134 on Sunday, followed by 125 in Athwa and 57 in Katargam zone. Udhna zone recorded lowest daily with 30 cases.
According to SMC officials, as on Sunday, 40,050 people were under home quarantine and 1,958 patients are under treatment in different Covid-19 hospitals in the city.
In Surat district, 223 new Covid-19 cases were recorded on Sunday and five patients succumbed to the infections.
