Not really my best day, but still managed a 55 lb Total PR. Might upload some vids at some point, but nothing too spectacular.
Went 1/3 on squat. Only got my 750 opener. I wrapped my knees for my second (805) and the wraps were just too restrictive. I couldn't sit back properly and dumped it. Repeated on my 3rd and went back to sleeves. I barely moved out of the hole, was too gassed from my second.
2/3 on bench. 560 and then 600. Cranked my wrist pretty bad locking out 600 and passed on a third. This was 5 lbs under my best meet bench but a 65 lb full meet PR. I might have had 620 in me but didn't want to risk breaking my forearm.
2/3 on pulls. 525 was easy, then got called on 555 for hitching. I bitched a little about that and watching the vid, the bar stopped and then I finished the pull. I was pissed and went back and ripped it for my 3rd. 15lb PR.
Was shooting for a 2000 total and ended up with 1905 at 220. Lots of room to grow.

Thanks brah
Haha, truth
I don't really train heavy raw and I almost never max out. But yeah, you can definitely add a lot of pounds with gear, if you have the balls for it.
Thanks, I know what to work on, just gotta do it!
Thanks man!

Thanks man. I have just always trained with people at a very high level. When you're always training with people who are competitive, you either get with that program or move on to somewhere else. When I started benching in gear I had a 275 bench, then I started training with someone that benched 800, and I made it my goal to get a 400 bench. That took me about a year. Then I went to 500 which took me a few more years. Then I made a come back from a serious illness a couple of years ago and as I was rebuilding my bench I shot right past 500 and I was suddenly benching 600.
It's very hard to be good at all three lifts. Even the best in the world have that one lift that isn't as good as the other two. For me it's deadlift. I've been hammering away at it and making steady progress. My best pull was only 515 a year ago, so I added 40 to that in a year without gaining any weight. I would have loved a shot at a third pull on Saturday, as I probably would have gone 575. There's a lot of room for growth there.Best Meet lifts: S:775 B:605 D:555 Total:1905 (220, drug free)

Thanks brah, negged (not srs lol)
No, not common and I only train in sleeves but I have used wraps before. I was thinking the wraps would give me a little more support but they were too tight and ended up completely throwing me off. In hindsight I should have just stuck with the sleeves.Best Meet lifts: S:775 B:605 D:555 Total:1905 (220, drug free)
