Currently have 2 pairs of higher end earbuds (momentum 2.0 and B&W Pl7) for listening around the house that are phenomenal, but I needed a better gym pair that I wouldn't worry too much about if something happened to replace my aging Sony's.
After watching a bunch of reviews and also other reviews on Cnet and other audio sites I finally settled on these Tribits.

They sound phenomenal honestly, they don't have the upper end clarity and soundstage that my other pairs have but for 64 shipped I'm honestly impressed. They sound better than my GFs Airpod Pros
-Qualcomm chip
-Bluetooth 5.2- works even on the other side of the gym
-really good sound quality with tight bass
- really secure and comfortable
-IPX6 rated
Only issues I have honestly are
-No Noise cancelling but the design already handles it pretty well
-no haptic buttons, which isn't personally an issue for me but I know some people prefer it. They're 65 bucks so something has to give
