Include me in NEP discussion: TN edu min to Centre
Representative Image CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu school education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi on Saturday wrote to Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to include him in the online discussion on implementing National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The Union education ministry is holding a meeting with state education secretaries on Monday on various issues including implementation of the NEP and continuing online education. In the letter, Poyyamozhi told Nishank that conducting the consultation with the education minister and higher officials would be an acceptable one, a release from the state government said on Sunday. While opposing NEP 2020, the DMK in its election manifesto promised a state-level education policy.
