Egypt fines mobile operators EGP 21 mln for number portability violations

Egypt's National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has imposed fines of EGP 20.65 million on mobile operators for violating the rules on number portability. An EGP 7 million fine was imposed on Vodafone Egypt, EGP 5.8 million penalty on Orange Egypt, EGP 3.95 million on Etisalat Egypt and EGP 3.9 million on Telecom Egypt WE).
