SSLC & PUC II exams not cancelled: Minister

Chamarajanagara, May 17(UNI) Karnataka Minister for Primary & Secondary Education S Suresh Kumar on Monday clarified that so far no decision has been taken regarding cancellation of SSLC and second PUC examinations, which had been postponed due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in the State.
Speaking to newspersons at Hanur, he said that some media channels have made mere speculations. Keeping in mind the future of the students and their efforts, appropriate decisions will be taken in the coming days that will be beneficial for them.
The SSLC and 2nd PUC exams in the State will be held after the Covid-19 pandemic comes under control, he said.
Let the students not get distracted due to any reasons and let them continue studying, he appealed.
The government will take appropriate decisions once the pandemic comes under control in the State, he added.
