At first the TMC leaders were taken to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) office in the Narada sting operation case and were later arrested. bengal governor jagdeep dhankhar had given permission to the cbi to investigate the TMC leaders a few days ago.

Now the TMC supporters started protesting outside the raj Bhawan, residence of bengal governor jagdeep dhankhar over the arrests of ministers and TMC leaders. bjp mp dilip ghosh has filed a complaint against West bengal cm mamata banerjee alleging that she has instigated violence in the state.

TMC mp abhishek banerjee has said in a tweet, “I urge everyone to abide by the law and refrain from any activity that violates lockdown norms for the sake of the larger interest of bengal and its people. We have utmost faith in the judiciary & the battle will be fought legally.”

governor Dhankhar took to twitter and wrote, “Invited attention of cm mamata banerjee -- on channels and in the public domain, I notice arson and pelting of stones at the cbi office. Pathetic that kolkata police and West bengal police are just onlookers. Appeal to you to act and restore law and order."
