Kim Kardashian is now the proud owner of the custom-made black top and pants worn by Janet Jackson in her 1993 If music video.
The item went under the hammer at Julien's Auction as part of the "Iconic Treasures From the Legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson" auction held for Janet's 55th birthday, Billboard reports, and Kim Kardashian scooped it up for $25 000 (R350 000).
The auction included 1 000 items from Janet, with proceeds from sales going to Compassion International - an organisation that provides aid for children living in poverty.
Sharing a photo of the outfit confirming its sale, Julien's Auction tweeted: "SOLD for $25,000! A custom-made top with a pair of black pants, both worn by Janet Jackson in her 1993 award-winning "If" music video."
