IPL 2021: Thirty-eight Australians — including the likes of David Warner, Steve Smith, Pat Cummins and Ricky Ponting — touched down on Australian soil on Monday morning having escaped COVID-ravaged India following the Indian Premier League’s postponement.
The group arrived back in Australia via Kuala Lumpur on an Air Seychelles flight after a two-week stay in the Maldives, where they waited for Australia’s travel ban on passenger flights from India to expire on May 15.
