Shimla, May 16 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh recorded 70 deaths and 2378 cases of COVID-19 in the
past 24 hours, a health bulletin said here on Sunday.
Among the deaths, 30 were recorded in Kangra, 11 in Shimla, Six in Solan and Mandi, four each in Hamirpur, Una, Sirmaur two in Kullu, one in Lahaul Spiti, Kinnuar and Chamba.
In fresh cases, 787 were registered in Kangra, followed by 336 in Solan, 242 in Shimla
206 in Una, 181 in Chamba, 156 in Mandi, 144 Hamirpur, 113 in Bilaspur, 95 in Sirmaur
80 in Kullu, 23 in Lahaul Spiti and 15 in Kinnaur.
The active cases in the hill state are 36,909 the total cases have surged to 1,60,240 and deaths to 2,311 .
