Congress MP Revanth Reddy stopped by police

Hyderabad: City police stopped MP A. Revanth Reddy who was to go to Gandhi Hospital to distribute food Covid 19 patients and their relatives. The act of the police led to a quarrel between the MP and the Begumpet police.

Police told the MP that they had instructed the Minister of KTR to stop the MP and stop him from going to Gandhi Hospital. Police collected the MP’s vehicle. Revanth expressed his anger over the attitude of the police and wondered how the governors of the state do politics about the hunger of poor people. He also wondered if it was a crime to feed the poor during the period of the continuous lockdown.
