Chennai, May 16 (UNI) Perhaps for the first time, the
Tamil Nadu government on Sunday formed a 13-member
advisory committee that has former AIADMK leader and
Health Minister C Vijayabaskar as one of its members.
The committee, headed by chief minister M K Stalin,
will provide suggestions to prevent the spread of
COVID-19 in the State amid the second wave of the
pandemic.
The committee consists of a member each from all
political parties having representation in the newly
constituted 16th Legislative Assembly.
It also included parties those contested on the symbols
of DMK and the AIADMK.
The committee was constituted as per a resolution
adopted at the legislature -party meeting held by
Mr Stalin on May 13, an official release said.
