I've upgraded to a 750W therefore. It's only two months and a half old and mildly used.

I actually don't know about that. Thanks for pointing out. Probably its 5 year... Should I update it?

Yes, if the PSU has no problem which voids the warranty then it should be official 4 years and 9 months warranty remaining. If you write only 1 year then people may think it's a seller's warranty and not official manufacturer's warranty.
