Chennai, May 15 (UNI) A day after Vedanta Group said that
its oxygen production was hit due to a technical snag, the
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) tonight pitched
in to rectify it and support the firm in resuming the oxygen
production for the benefit of treating COVID patients.
A Vendata release said ''Efforts to resume production at
our oxygen plant are progressing. Today, an expert team
from ISRO arrived at the premises to support our ongoing
efforts and collaborate with our technical team''.
''They have suggested some measures to help rectify the
production snag'', it said.
''This has helped fastrack the repair process for which
we are thankful to the local administration, who was
instrumental in facilitating this cooperative effort to
recommence our oxygen production'', the release said.
