Italian Open 2021 Quarterfinal: Lorenzo Sonego v Andrey Rublev, Head-to-Head, LIVE stream

Italian Open 2021 Quarterfinal: Lorenzo Sonego v Andrey Rublev, Head-to-Head, LIVE stream- After causing a major upset, beating World No 4 Dominic Thiem in the Round-of-16, Italian Lorenzo Sonego will face Andrey Rublev in the quarterfinals of the Italian Open, an ATP Tour event, on Saturday. Rublev had it easy against Bautista Agut in the Round-of-16, winning the match 6-4, 6-4 in straight sets.

Unlike Rublev, World No 33 Sonego has had a tough journey in the tournament so far. In the first round, he faced Gael Monfils, defeating him in a tough battle 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. However, coming back of a title win in the Sardegna Open, Sonego will be confident of putting a good show against Rublev in the ATP Masters event with the winner bagging crucial 1,000 ATP points. Novak Djokovic is the defending champion.

Lorenzo Sonego has faced current World No 7 Andrey Rublev only twice in his career with the Russian winning both matches. On clay court, the record stands at 1-0 in Rublev’s favour after the Russian won an ATP Challenger event against Sonego back in 2016.
