NEW DELHI: Former Delhi BJP chief and northeast Delhi MP,
Manoj Tiwari, distributed food outside Swami Dayanand hospital and then visited a
Covid care centre at Yamuna Sports Complex in Vivek Vihar to see the arrangements made there for patients.
Delhi BJP is running a campaign titled ‘
Seva Hi Sangthan’ under which party leaders are helping Covid hit people and their family members.
“Under the campaign each and every party worker including MPs, MLAs and councillors is leaving no stone unturned to provide necessary items such as medicines and other equipment to the needy. The campaign is aimed at providing maximum possible help to people and carry forward the campaign by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to deal with the pandemic,” Tiwari, who recently recovered from Covid, said.
Meanwhile, Delhi BJP in-charge Baijayant Jay Panda met Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta, leader of opposition Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, BJP MPs and others to take stock of the situation. “With our commitment to ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’ thousands of karyakartas have been assisting the public in the face of epic mismanagement by the Delhi govt,” Panda tweeted.
Hitting out at Delhi CM
Arvind Kejriwal, Tiwari said
AAP government is busy doing politics and taking credit for Centre's works.
“Even the free ration scheme started by central government is not being spared by them but it would be better if Kejriwal rose above petty politics to ensure needy get all relief being provided to them by the Centre,” Tiwari said.
