Bollywood actress Sezal Sharma recently launched social activist-turned-writer Sunil Sihag Gora’s debut novel Day Turns Dark. Sihag has started the ‘Gora Foundation Trust’, an NGO that creates awareness about organ donation. He has also set up five community libraries in rural areas to make books accessible to the readers.
Sihag, a resident of Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, who has also served with the Indian Air Force for 15 years, has now authored Day Turns Dark, a novel that revolves around love, friendship, and career.
Notably, the entire revenue generated by the book will be spent in creating awareness about organ donation. “All the characters are well-constructed and multidimensional, with their own flaws, but my personal favourite is Harleen, a girl of her own will,” says Sezal.
The author has turned this high school kids’ love triangle into a thriller with a chilling climax. “I would like to share my resolution with the readers that the entire revenue generated by the book will be spent in the public library project, organ donation awareness campaign and Shiksha Abhiyan of the foundation,” says Sunil Sihag Gora.
