Hyderabad: The well-known Telugu linguist and literary critic professor KK Ranganadhacharyulu succumbed Covid-19 while being treated at a private hospital in Nacharam on Saturday. He was 80.
Ranganadhacharyulu was a versatile and popular personality in the Telugu literary world. He researched and contained various trends in modern Telugu literature. He was versatile in Telugu literature and also taught linguistics at the University of Hyderabad and led several scholars to explore various topics in Telugu literature.
Prime Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao condoles on the death of renowned linguists who have made rich contributions to the development of the Telugu language and literature. He recalls the services rendered by Prof Ranganadhacharyulu, who has worked in various capacities as a critic, teacher and research guide. He conveyed his condolences to members of the grieving family.
Finance Minister T Harish Rao also mourned the death of Ranganadhacharyulu and expressed his condolences to the grieving family.
