Narsapur Member of Parliament, Kanumuru Raghu Rama Krishna Raju was arrested by the AP CID police today. He is a rebel MP from YSRCP party and on the allegation that he has been involved in criminal conspiracy and criminal misconduct of a public servant he was arrested by the cops today.

He is a rebel mp from YSRCP party and on the allegation that he has been involved in criminal conspiracy and criminal misconduct of a public servant he was arrested by the cops today.

The case that was booked on him was under 124 IAC-A section. It is heard that CID officers have visited his house in civil dress and arrested him from his house. It is also heard that the cops even pushed away the CRPF people and arrested him. Also, a non balance arrest warrant was said to be issued on him. However it is heard that no notices were shown to him while taking him into custody.
 
Earlier, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has booked cases against him and his family members, who are directors of Ind bharath Power Gencom Limited under sections 120-B, r/w with 420, 467, 478 and 471 IPC on charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery of valuable security, using forged documents as genuine and criminal misconduct of a public servant.

The other details about the case as well as what CDI will do with the mp further are yet to be known.
