I had kidney stone when I was younger, at work we had a cheap and expensive plan, i was on cheap since I never needed anything.
Kidney stones suck for those that never had, and this was a horrible one, tons of pain in middle of night. Wife (gf at time) convinced me to go to ER and get some drugs. Was there for maybe 1.5-2 hours, the small ****ty MRI, like a ring you pass through, not the big bad ass tube kind. Then some drugs and a script to go home.
$14K. $12K was the MRI alone. My bill was $2k
After that, I changed to the better plan the next open enrollment session. USA service & access to it is great. Its the costs that suck the dong. Unless you're poor, then you just go in and never pay anyways. ****ersFitness, Shooting sports, fishing/boating, family life.
