Portuguese government to continue public investments in NGN

Portugal's Minister of Infrastructures and Housing, Pedro Nuno Santos, said that public investment in new Next Generation Networks (NGN) "will advance" in locations not covered by private operators, reports Lusa. He added that this will make Portugal "an international example in the availability of ultra-fast communications networks with complementary and technologically neutral solutions".
