Hyderabad, May 14 (UNI) Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramzan and fasting, was celebrated with religious fervour in Telangana on Friday.
Most muslims offered prayers at their homes following the advise of religious leaders and due to the COVID lockdown.
Unlike in the past, fewer number of worshipers were seen in the famous idghas and major mosques in the city.
Joyous scenes were seen after the prayers with people hugging each and and offering Eid greetings.
Muslim household prepared "Sheer Khurma', a sweet dish especially made on Eid day and distributed among friends, neighbours and relatives.
