Eid Mubarak: From Abhishek Bachchan to Sara Ali Khan, Bollywood celebs extend warm greetings

Given the current situation, where the world is fighting the deadly Covid-19 pandemic, the actors have urged people to stay indoors and wear masks in their greetings.

As the nation commemorates the occasion of Eid, a slew of Bollywood celebrities including Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra among others, have extended their warm greetings to people on social media.

Given the current situation, where the world is fighting the deadly Covid-19 pandemic, the actors have urged people to stay indoors and wear masks in their greetings. Sharing a photo featuring a moon and a mosque with lamps in the backdrop on the Twitter, Abhishek wrote, Eid mubarak#StayHomeStaySafe #Maskon.

Sharing a clip from her first film, Saawariya, Sonam Kapoor wished her fans Eid Mubarak. She wrote, Eid Mubarak to my sisters and brothers (sic). Shahid Kapoor, who will soon be seen in the Hindi remake of the Telugu sports film, Jersey, also wished his fans. He wrote, Chand Mubarak. Eid Mubarak (sic). 

Bhumi Pednekar, on the other hand, has planned to savour delicacies on the occasion. She tweeted, “Eid Mubarak Today’s plan is to eat sheer khurma and keep going on with tons of positive energy and strength 🙂 Am missing My Eidi and the excitement we would have as children on getting it #nostalgic #CovidWarrior (sic).

Sidharth Malhotra prayed for everyone’s safety and health on Eid, he wrote a sweet message for his fans that read, On this Eid, prayers for the health and safety of people around the world. Stay blessed. Stay safe. #EidMubarak, he tweeted.

Eid Mubarak Hoping and praying for happiness, positivity and safety for everyone (sic). She also gave hope to fans, saying, “Inshallah better times ahead for us all (sic), wrote Sara Ali Khan and shared a photo featuring herself with her brother Ibrahim.
