Delhi High Court adjourns the matter related to businessman Navneet Kalra's anticipatory bail, in connection with a case relating to the hoarding of oxygen concentrators in a restaurant in South Delhi, for May 18. The Court refused to grant any interim protection to him.

The delhi court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea by businessman Navneet Kalra in the oxygen concentrator hoarding and black-marketing case. However, the co-accused in the case was granted bail by the court on Wednesday.
On thursday additional sessions judge sandeep Garg dismissed the anticipatory bail plea filed by Navneet Kalra, who was the main accused in hoarding the oxygen cylinders in his restaurants.
Over 500 oxygen concentrators were recovered from his restaurants in delhi and ever since he has been absconding the arrest. He also moved to the court seeking bail. During the recent raids, 524 oxygen concentrators were recovered from three restaurants owned by Navneet Kalra, including the popular Khan Chacha in Khan Market.
After hearing the arguments of both the prosecution and defense, the court on wednesday had reserved the order on the pre-arrest bail.
Additional Sessions Judge sandeep Garg dismissed Kalra’s bail plea noting that the allegations against him were serious and the possibility of him “tampering with evidence or intimidating prosecution witnesses cannot be ruled out”.
