I don't think you need for your hair. I use the Cien line from Lidl shampoo or a 2n1 which has some conditioner.
Don't use fabric conditioner at all for washing your clothes because it coats them in silicones and slows down drying and can ruin moisture-wicking abilities.
That is why towels must only be washed with detergent. Otherwise, you are going to create a protective layer that reduced absorbency.
For washing your clothes to prolong their life, these are the top tips:
a) Wash them at 15-20C cold wash always.
b) Air dry, don't tumble dry.
c) Use liquid detergent.
d) Reduce spinning speed (most likely not much difference from this one).communist until you get rich

I use conditioner in my beard once a week. Whatever my wife is using at the time. Then use beard oil daily.
