Realme had launched its budget smartphones -- Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro-- in March. The new smartphones boast of improved cameras, design and new software. The major differences between Realme 8 and 8 Pro are mostly around chipset, camera and battery. The Realme 8 is powered by MediaTek Helios G95 SoC while the Realme 8 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. Similarly, the Realme 8 Pro comes with a 108MP primary camera sensor instead of 64MP primary camera on the Realme 8.
The Realme 8 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is powered by 2.05GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset with ARM Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. It also runs Realme UI 2.0. The device will come with three RAM options-- 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. All the three variants offer 128GB of internal storage along with support for 256GB microSD cards.
