Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister visits AMUS in view of steep rise of COVID cases

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today visited Aligarh Muslim University and took stock of the arrangements and preparations for treatment of COVID patients.

The Chief Minister visited the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College campus and took stock of the facilities available for treatment of COPD patients in Aligarh and AMU in particular.
He also visited the integrated COVID Command Centre and reviewed the arrangements for COVID patients. Later Chief Minister had a meeting with Vice Chancellor of the university and other administrative officials including the the representatives from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College of Aligarh Muslim University regarding the infection of covid in AMU campus and the vaccination drive.
Recently many faculty members and employees of the university have succumbed to the infection of COVID.
Before coming to AMU, Yogi Adityanath spoke twice to the Vice Chancellor of the university and assured to provide every possible help for the treatment of patients and also for the vaccination drive.
Yogi Adityanath will later go to Mathura and Agra and review the preparedness and other arrangements for the COVID patients.
