Hyderabad: City delivery Kumar Auto Care now drives diesel in front of customers’ doorstep. It recently added a dual-fueled mobile fuel pump. The truck-mounted mobile fuel delivery unit will meet the diesel needs of property, health and hospitality segments purchasing diesel in bulk.
“Diesel is used on a large scale by fixed machinery. It is not practical to get the machinery at the gas stations for diesel. The other option is to fill the tank with barrels and then refill the equipment on site. However, it is chock full of spills and risks. We are now going to the site and offering diesel, ”says Kunal Kumar Sonthalia, managing partner, Kumar Auto Care, which has a filling station near Secunderabad.
Fixed fixed equipment, it also supplies diesel to hospital and hospitality customers and other business customers using generators. “There is no difference in pricing, and customers get an electronic bill,” he said. Attention is now being given to places that are 25-30 km away. The truck is equipped with fire extinguishers.
This can be done even longer distances if the diesel order is 5,000 liters or more. It spent about 29 million euros for the mobile diesel dispenser. ‘We have the required license to deliver diesel in front of customers’ doors. We are cutting dead miles for customers, ”he said, adding that it will soon have an app to take orders. The fuel delivery depends on the distance and the availability of the truck, said Sonthalia, who has been operating the filling station since 2016.
Delivery of diesel in front of the door is a cost-effective solution for customers. This will benefit the agricultural sector, hospitals, housing associations, heavy machinery facilities and mobile towers, he said.
Given the Covid-19 pandemic running through the second wave, it will be a win-win offer for the consumer as they can take social distance by avoiding contactless delivery by long queues at gas stations.
