An experience. Can't take a thing with them.
Best choice depends on the person and their present medical condition.
- music
- food
- fragrance
- touch/massage
Really something like that. Maybe a playlist from when they were younger and happier. One of their favorite things to eat, may not be available if they are in a hospital environment. They could be stiff/sore from not being able to change position very much so w/help if you can use some nice oil or lotion and gently work out some aches that could be very nice.
My mom was super limited in what she would eat/drink for multiple reasons. The things that I knew she would eat that I could make for her I tried to do; fried eggs with toast and coffee in the morning, fresh sliced strawberries w/whipped cream most days, same w/cheese quesadilla a little brown and toasty. Had a CD of church music in a CD player and figured out how to stream her church service on Sunday. I wish that I had kept more physical contact with her as things went on, but it just got too hard for me.INTP Crew
