HP records 4,937 covid cases, 63 deaths

Shimla, May 13 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh recorded 4,937 cases of COVID-19 and 63 deaths in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said here on Thursday.
The active cases in the hill state now stands at 40,008. Cumulative case tally has now gone up to 1,50,673 and death toll have mounted to 2118 in the state, the bulletin added.
In fresh cases, 1277 were registered in Kangra, followed by 694 in Solan, 632 in Shimla, 505 in Sirmaur, 375 in Chamba, 357 in Mandi, 327 in Hamipur, 321 in Bilaspur, 300 in Una, 86 in Kullu, 33 in Kinnuar and 30 in Lahaul Spiti, as per the statement.
Among the deaths, 16 were recorded in Una, 15 in Kangra, 12 in Shimla, five each in Solan and Sirmaur, four in Chamba, three in Mandi, one each in Kinnaur and Hamirpur.
