Mahindra launches ‘Oxygen on wheels’ service in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: ‘Oxygen on Wheels’, a service operated by Mahindra Logistics under the supervision of Rachakonda police for free transport of oxygen cylinders from refueling plants, was launched here on Thursday.

Mahach Bhagwat, Rachakonda Police Commissioner, flew the vehicles off and praised Mahindra Logistics for their efforts. He said it was a public service initiative to support transport of oxygen cylinders to hospitals and other medical facilities.

“No transport costs will be charged and preference will be given to state hospitals for the supply of oxygen cylinders from refilling plants,” he said.

Mahindra Logistics previously launched these services in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Delhi Mohali and now in Hyderabad.
