Samsung is reported to be working on a "Lite" version of the tablet for the past few weeks. The tablet was initially said to be called Galaxy Tab S7 Lite but a later claim suggested it be named Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite. Now, fresh rounds of leaks have emerged that reveal that the tablet will actually be called Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite.

This is undoubtedly a mouthful of a name but considering the product, it does make sense. The name makes it clear that the tablet is part of the Galaxy Tab S7 series but is a toned-down version and hence the "Lite" moniker. The "XL" in the name confirms that despite being low on other features and specs, it will have a bigger display and size.

Evan Blass aka @evleaks, a well-known tipster, has also tweeted a bunch of Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite renders. These images show all color options that will be available once it launches. One can also notice a couple of accessories include a kickstand case and S Pen stylus. It is unknown whether these will be bundled or sold separately.

The Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite is tipped to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The onboard storage for the tablet is 128GB and presumably, there will be microSD card support as well. Other important features said to be included are USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, and WiFi 5, and 45W fast charging.
