YouTube brings Shorts beta to India, launches USD 100 mln fund for creators

YouTube has extended its YouTube Shorts beta service to India, after launching in the US earlier this spring. The company has also introduced a USD 100 million aimed at helping people create unique Shorts. The money will be distributed over the course of 2021-2022 to all creators, not just those in the YouTube Partner Program.
