Female police constable becomes caretaker to 6-month-old child after parents test Covid-19 positive

NEW DELHI: A female constable in Delhi Police opened her doors for a 6-month-old child whose parents had tested Covid-19 positive.
The Delhi-based couple ran out of options to protect their new born from Covid-19 as none of their relatives lived in the capital.
The couple had tested Covid-19 positive and did not want the child to fell ill but had no place where they could leave their kid in safety.
Most of their relatives in Uttar Pradesh were stuck due to the statewide lockdown and could not make the journey to Delhi to take care of the child while the parents recuperate.
When there seemed to be no hope, Rakhi, a female constable in Delhi Police came forth to help.
When Rakhi heard about the couple and their child, she spoke to her senior to discuss a solution.
Following this, she reached out to the couple and expressed her willingness to take care of the child at her home.
Rakhi took the child under her care and provided for the kid until she could arrange to get the baby safe to their grand parent's home in Modinagar.
