OTE revenues fall 1% in Q1, EBITDA slightly higher

Wednesday 12 May 2021 | 10:40 CET | News
Greek operator OTE reported first-quarter revenues down 1.2 percent year-on-year to EUR 788 million, while adjusted EBITDA grew 1.6 percent to EUR 301 million. The company blamed the lower sales on its Romanian business, which posted 20 percent lower revenues due to a high level of ICT contracts a year ago. In Greece alone, revenues rose 1.4 percent to EUR 717 million, supported by a recovery in handset sales, and EBITDA improved 3.5 percent to EUR 298 million.
