Google Chrome may soon make it easier to share links via desktop
NEW DELHI: Internet search giant Google is reportedly adding a tool called “Desktop Sharing Hub” to its internet browserGoogle Chrome — with an aim to provide an easy way to interact with the link.

According to a report by 9to5Google, the latest Chrome Canary releases on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Chrome OS show this feature in the extreme right side of the omnibox via a ‘+’ sign.

Clicking on the ‘+’ sign will show multiple options for sharing pages — such as generating a QR code of the page, casting a tab, saving a page as a document and just copying the link.

The report adds that the Desktop Sharing Hub feature was spotted in the v92 of Chrome Canary, which means that it may take a while before it is actually rolled out.
