A disappointed Josef Zinnbauer felt let down by the performance by his Orlando Pirates side after being held to a 0-0 draw by Stellenbosch FC in a PSL clash on Tuesday.

The Buccaneers were on the back foot for large parts of the match at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch and were fortunate to come away with a point as the hosts missed numerous scoring opportunities.

After the final whistle, the German tactician lamented his side's lacklustre display in their attempts to finish within the top three and CAF continental places.

"Bad result, bad performance, not what we said we wanted before the game," Zinnbauer told SuperSport TV.

"I know we were good coming out from the back but then once we got to the final third we didn't have that power we needed.

"Our last game was a top performance but then we put in a performance like this, it's not enough.

"You can't win the last game with a good performance and three goals and then this happens, you need to put in the same level of performance."
