Bank will remain shut on 13 and 14 May in some parts of the country due to several festivals when banks do not operate, depending on the state, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
On 13 May, banks will not be in fuction in Belapur, Jammu, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram on account of Ramzan-Id (Id-Ul-Fitr) (Shawal-1).
And On 14 May, Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong and Shimla won't be able to access their brick-and-mortar account due to these festivals- Bhagavan Shree Parshuram Jayanti/Ramjan-Eid (Eid-UI-Fitra)/Basava Jayanti/Akshaya Tritiya.
