Shankara Building Products on Wednesday anticipated that partial lockdown amid the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, will impact its day-to-day operations this month.
In its regulatory filing, Shankara Building said, "this is to inform you that as there is a partial lockdown in our areas of operation, we anticipate an impact on our day to day operation for the month of May."
As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 3,48,421 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra has reported the highest daily new cases at 40,956. It is followed by Karnataka with 39,510 while Kerala reported 37,290 new cases.
However, as per the ministry data, 3,55,338 recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.
At around 1.54 pm, Shankara Building was trading at Rs374.75 per piece up by 0.8% on Sensex.
