Aid provided at C-zones, Eid edibles presented

Imphal, May 11 2021: BJP Manipur Pradesh State Council member and Covid 2nd Wave Fighting Task Force Lamlai Mandal chairman Khongbantabam Ibomcha and BJP Kisan Morcha vice president and Medical Cell convener Dr Ksh Kala distributed edible items to families living in containment zones of Yourabung Khunou under Lamlai assembly constituency and Khundrakpam AC respectively, through members of PYYDA Club, Covid-19 Relief Committee and YMC.

In a similar gesture, Manipur Police Housing Corporation executive engineer Yengkhom Nilachandra of Kakching Khullen Laishangbam Pareng distributed food items at the doorstep of people under home isolation in Kakching AC.

Meanwhile, former Wangkhei MLA O Henry greeted people on the occasion of Eid and presented edible items to Muslims residing in Wangkhei AC during a function held at his official quarters at Babupara on Tuesday.

Wabagai MLA Md Fajur Rahim also inspected the Wabagai High School Community Home Isolation Centre opened for Wabagai AC along with distributing edibles to families living in containment zones of the constituency on Tuesday.

He also paid visits to families under Wabagai AC who lost their loved ones to Covid-19 and provided aid to them.

On the other hand, intending candi date in Heirok AC Ningthoujam Diten Singh provided essential items to households in containment zone of Thokchom village, Heirok AC on Tuesday.

He also toured Sikhong Muslim village and presented edible items to the villagers in connection with the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
