Karnataka postpones Common Entrance Test, verify new examination dates

The Karnataka authorities Wednesday determined to postpone the Common Entrance Test — the gateway for admission to undergraduate engineering, know-how, yoga and naturopathy, farm science and pharma programs — within the wake of the continued second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
KCET 2021 might be carried out on August 28 and 29 whereas the Kannada Language Test might be held on August 30, the chief director of the Karnataka Examinations Authority confirmed on Wednesday.
As per the revised schedule, Biology (first shift) and Mathematics (second shift) exams might be held on August 28. Physics and Chemistry exams might be held on August 29 within the first and and second shifts respectively.

Similarly, the Kannada Language check for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates might be held at  10:30 am to 11:50 am whereas the second shift shift might be from 2:30 pm and three:50 pm on August 30.
