    Adani Green shares drop 2.34% as Sensex falls

    Analysts said Nifty faced stiff resistance near 9,500 on Friday and remained mostly rangebound between 9,000 and 9,500 levels.
    Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd. traded 2.34 per cent down at Rs 1077.15 at 02:18PM (IST) on Tuesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex dropped 399.74 points to 49102.67. The scrip had closed at Rs 1102.95 in the previous session.

    The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 1341.6 and Rs 208.0, respectively.

    As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 02:18PM (IST) stood at 02:18PM shares with turnover at Rs 4.52 crore.

    At the prevailing price, the stock trades at 902.14 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 1.19 per share and 31.49 times its price-to-book value, BSE data showed.

    A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

    The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.9.

    Shareholding Details
    Promoters held 56.29 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs owned 21.47 per cent and DIIs 0.3 per cent.
