Hyderabad: The Confederation of Indian Industry today appreciated the closure imposed by the Telangana government.
The CII said that lifesaving should be the top priority in the current pandemic situation, and CII Telangana appreciates the government’s decision to close Telangana from May 12 for the past ten days nationwide.
Mr Sameer Goel, Chairman, CII Telangana, said that there is a need to break the chain and keep the transmission links to a minimum, and the closure could help in this regard. He also mentioned that all essential services, priority sectors, should be allowed to function
The Indian Industry strives to protect its employees and arrange the necessary support to strengthen the healthcare system by increasing oxygen supplies, expanding the production capacity of medicines, increasing the bed capacity. The industry also arranges quarantine facilities for their employees and also for the community.
