Barnala, May 10

The family of Harmanjot Singh Bhattal (19), who was allegedly shot by his uncle in Canada’s Edmonton a few days ago, will have to wait for a few more days for his body to arrive.

The autopsy will be conducted on Tuesday and the authorities will start the process of sending it back to India thereafter.

“Harmanjot was shot by his uncle after a quarrel with his wife. We got information about his death on Saturday morning and since then, we have been trying to get his body back,” said Bhupinder Singh, a relative. — TNS
