GUWAHATI, May 11: 38 Bn BSF under the aegis of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force apprehended an Indian narcotics smuggler along with 22.1 Kgs cannabis on May 10 from bordering area of village Kismat Karala at Coochbehar (West Bengal).

Acting on a tip off, on May 10 BSF troops of Border outpost (BOP) Karla of 38 Bn BSF carried out a special search operation in the house of Jayanta Barman (25) during which the search party recovered 22.1 Kgs cannabis from his house.

Apprehended Indian narcotics smuggler and seized cannabis have been handed over to PS Sahebganj, Dist- Coochbehar (West Bengal) for further legal action.
