Neuland Laboratories reported 27.69% yoy increase in consolidated sales revenues for the Mar-21 quarter at Rs244.71cr. Neuland saw 42% growth in the CMS business with increase in revenues in both the baseline projects as well as the development projects.

Most CMS projects of the company had already achieved critical mass. Their focus continues to be predominantly on the complex API business and the CMS (Custom Manufacturing Solutions) business. Neuland services customers spread across 80 countries.

The net profit in the Mar-21 quarter turned around to profit of Rs17.29cr as against a net loss of Rs-9.3cr in Mar-20 quarter. While the higher revenues in the Mar-21 quarter did help, the company also gained from sharply lower taxes in Mar-21 quarter.

Net profit margins at 7.07% was lower than sequential quarter with NPM at 10.90% in Dec-20 quarter.
