The Telangana government has already set a night clock from 21:00 to 05:00 with a view to increasing the country COVID-19 cases on April 20, which was extended several times. The nightclub restrictions remain until May 15, according to the recent GO.

In addition, the government has also banned gatherings of more than 100 people at weddings and other functions, while the number is limited to 20 funerals.

General Secretary Somesh Kumar said the Telangana state government is not in favor of such measures as it is unlikely to serve the purpose. “We need to think about people’s livelihoods and other issues.
