Naveen enquires health of BJP Leader Pradipta Naik, asks AIIMS doctors to provide best of treatment

Bhubaneswar, May 11 (UNI) Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today requested the doctors
of AIIMS Bhubaneswar to provide the best treatment to BJP Leader and Leader of Opposition
Pradipta Naik .
Affected by Covid-19 Mr Naik is in ICU in AIIMS Bhubaneswar for the last 16 days.
Mr Patnaik discussed with AIIMS doctors on the health condition of Mr Naik, appreciated the
efforts of the doctors and requested them to provide the best health care. He assured all
support from the State government.
The Chief Minister interacted with the AIIMS and SCB Medical College doctors who are also
taking care of the treatment of Mr Naik.
The Doctors briefed the Chief Minister that Mr Naik is currently Covid negative but in
ventilator support due to widespread lung infection and his condition continues to serious.
The AIIMS Director Geetanjali Batmanabane thanked the State government for all the
support in the treatment of Mr Naik, especially the timely support of critical medicines.
The chief minister wished speedy recovery of Mr Nayak .
