The central government has said that those who have taken the first dose of the vaccine will be given the second dose on a priority basis, states have also been asked for this. The Health Ministry said that states and union territories will receive more than 7 lakh additional Kovid vaccine supplements in the next 3 days. So far, more than 17 crore people have been given vaccine supplements in the country.
Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that in this regard, at least 70 percent of the vaccines (for the second price) can be given to the states free of cost from the Government of India channel and the remaining 30 percent for the first dose.
