HP: Sehjal hits back at Bali

Hamirpur (HP), May 11(UNI) Himachal Pradesh Health Minister Dr. Rajiv Sehjal on Tuesday slammed former Congress Minister GS Bali over the latter's remarks against his functioning during the pandemic.
Mr Bali had alleged that the entire COVID campaign was managed by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur alone and Dr Sehjal was "nowhere to be seen."
Hitting back, Dr Sehjal said that he was always on the move and visited number of health institutions in the garb of the PPE kits. "But that was not seen neither by Bali nor his party," the Health Minister averred.
Dr Sehjal, who visited Hamirpur to review COVID preparedness, was welcomed by DC Devasweta Banik, ASP Vijay Sakalani, ADC Jitendra Sanjata, SDM Chiranji Lal upon arriving at the Circuit House. During the visit, he chaired a review meeting on Covid in the Circuit House.
The Health Minister informed that all medical institutions in the state have become self-sufficient in the matter of oxygen and soon oxygen plants will be opened in six major health centers so there will be no problem in dealing with the COVID-19.
